When Played | Title (Release) | Cover | How it is |
---|---|---|---|
Mar 2025 | Rogue Light Deck Builder (2025) | ![]() |
Obligatory "I don't usually like deck builders". Great meta game about rogue lights and deck building. Genuinely well put-together too, definitely worth playing through for 4$, you gotta reward this kind of dev |
Mar 2025 | Golden Light (2022) | ![]() |
Freaky meat game with weird items and weird enemies. Really like it but it's a little too scary for this time of year... saving it for a Halloween playthrough |
Feb 2025 | House of the Dying Sun (2016) | ![]() |
Space combat! Feels just arcadey enough to be snappy and simple to learn but not too much so that it lacks depth. The abilities to give basic commands to your small fleet gives and to take command of your fighter wingmen widens the battles to feel larger |
Jan 2025 | FlyKnight (2025) | ![]() |
Old-school dungeon crawling as bugs. Limb-based combat! |
Feb 2025 | Zort (2025) | ![]() |
Like Lethal Company but with story progression through different areas - surprisingly funny. Great with 4 friends! I used a different thumbnail than the actual cover art becuase it looks too lame to do the game justice |
Dec 2024 | Abiotic Factor | ![]() |
Australian Half-Life, get a group of 4+ to really make the most of it |
Dec 2024 | Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (2006) | ![]() |
Still holds up almost 20 years later! Fantastic linear RPG where you can skill into mundane strength or the arcane. Strength seems better at the start, just going around kicking enemies and hitting them with crates, but a well-placed patch of ice from a spell does the same work. Leans a little heavily into the spider enemies for my taste but hey - those were the times |
