2025.3.8

spent nearly all day reworking containers to have a manageable system for formatting pages and it clicked! I had approached it like Tableau which requires a lot of containers within containers to format dashboards. going to be adding more "Pro Tips" to this page too - hopefully in a way that you see them if you scroll back along the blog posts instead of all just right at the top. gotta earn those tips, they're valuable

2025.3.7 reorganizing

messing with the navbar so that things I plan to frequently update are actually there instead of hidden behind a million links even though I think it would be kind of funny. adding more gifs and making the text boxes prettier. this grey-black scanline type background is actually the texture for text boxes in Ocarina of Time. I'll eventually make the borders cooler but the bluish grey looks pretty good for now

2025.3.6 new background!

grabbed a skybox from SM64 for the background and figured out how to make it so the background stays fixed while only the content scrolls :D new color-scheme too but I wanna have the original horrible purple theme somewhere for posterity, so I'm gonna make the first blog post themed like it

2025.3.2 progress!

spent way more time than I expected to this weekend on this. navbar is working! just need to fill out the things to nav to and add more pictures of the cats. "Entertainment" sucks as a page title but "Video Games, TV, Movies, and Books" is too long. the ui could look a little neater too. not cleaner, but neater. cluttered and chaotic is what i want here. learning this stuff has been a nearly constant stream of dopamine, can't wait for the frustrating part to come up for higher highs and lower lows

2025.3.1 website birth!

got a list of things I want to add once I figure out multiple pages and some more formatting. really digging the horrendous velvet texture I found for the background; I think it really ties the place together
